Introduction:

Barbell Strength Foundations – Coaching for Young Athletes

This program is designed to teach young athletes and teens how to lift weights safely, effectively, and with confidence. Over the course of six private, one-on-one coaching sessions, we break down the fundamentals of barbell strength training and lay the groundwork for long-term progress in the gym.

The core of the program focuses on mastering five essential compound lifts:

  • Squat

  • Deadlift

  • Bench Press

  • Overhead Press

  • Power Clean

Each session blends detailed instruction, hands-on coaching, and practice to ensure every movement is performed with proper technique. Alongside these main lifts, you’ll also learn key assistance exercises that build strength, stability, and athleticism to support your progress in the big lifts.

What’s included:

  • 6 private coaching sessions (60–90 minutes each)

  • Step-by-step instruction on each lift, from setup to execution

  • Feedback and corrections to develop safe, efficient technique

  • Guidance on assistance exercises to target weak points and build well-rounded strength

  • A simple, effective starting program you can follow on your own to continue improving after the course

By the end of the program, you’ll not only know how to perform these lifts with confidence—you’ll also understand why they matter, how they build full-body strength, and how to apply them to your own training moving forward.
